Corduff F.C are delighted to announce in partnership with Shamrock Rovers F.C the launch of a new development programme for all players within our club. This will help with our players development whilst providing some with a pathway to league of Ireland football.
This is aimed at improving our player’s and in turn will also improve the overall standards of football within the club. The programme will be run by Corduff Football Club alongside our partner club Shamrock Rovers F.C.
Coaching within the programme will be carried out by UEFA & FAI qualified coaches. This will mean the players are getting the highest possible standard of coaching we can give them.
We feel this is an important initiative we need to launch within the club & in doing so we feel we are playing our small part to improve the standards of Irish football.
Development Phase
In phase one of the programme all players from U8’s – U11’s in Corduff F.C will be involved in,
Emerging talent Phase
Phase 2 will be the Emerging talent programme. This will cater for players from U12’s to U19’s.
Players will be highlighted and invited into the programme. We will aim to select a minimum of 4 players from each age group to participate in the programme.
Children within this initiative will receive the following:
- An additional training session per week.
- Games against our partner club throughout the season.
- Games against development squads from around the country.
- On field sessions by Shamrock Rovers coaches.
- Individual personal development programmes.
- Homework to complete to improve tactical understanding of the game.
- Home training programmes tailored to each age group
- Video analysis for educational purposes.
It is important that we launch this programme because we feel as a club it is our duty to give the players the best possible football education and opportunity that we can.
It is so important we introduce this programme at the development age at under 8s as the most learning kids do is from U8’S -U12’S.
This will in turn give players the best chance to play league of Ireland football or even progress into underage international teams/development squads.
We hope that this programme will give our players the foundations to help them develop in their football careers and also in their personal lives.
This will be of no extra cost to any of the players involved and will be subsidised by the club.
Yours in football
Corduff F.C
